Love the new version! Coast seems a lot better, I like the increased ground map detail, the new print manager is wonderful, the winds aloft feature is superb (can you feel the 'but' coming!!)

I installed the latest release last week and today loaded SkyDemon mobile (after playing hunt the install button for 10 minutes!) to my GPS.

When I fired up SD mobile it found my UK chart straightaway and started loading it. 'Good' I thought, saves me force loading it from SD mobile chart manager.

I checked Chart manager anyway and noted it hadn't loaded the France charts so I force loaded them.

I then restarted SD mobile, and as it started up it gave a message 'loading UK chart'. With a bad feeling, I checked the chart manager. Sure enough, the France chart was no longer loaded. Whilst it's a simple process to load the charts manually each time I start up, it does take quite  long time for the device to load them, so that now starting up SD mobile takes about 2 minutes altogether (for both charts) instead of around 15 seconds on the last version (where once the charts had been forced they were immediately available once the software started).

Is there something I've missed?

Sorry if this was a red herring, I think that probably the newer charts are loading more slowly on the newer (and slower) device that I've started using recently. I'll certainly take your word for it!

I'm force loading charts because if I want to see weather stations on my route (I.E. Sitting in Le Touquet, wanting to see the TAFs and METARs for my whole route in France and the UK), the only way I can see them is to force load the UK chart. I can't even add (for example) Manston to the list of weather stations, because when the French chart is the only one loaded, I can only add French weatherstations. 

(I'm using this on a phone BTW, so can pick up NOTAMS/TAFs/METARs from a loaded route. Or rather, I can't, if the route crosses charts)
